In this old Tudor styled home we have merged past and present into a modern house filled with lots of natural light, old world charm and carefully chosen modern finishes. In addition, the property’s garage was converted into an ADU (Accessory dwelling unit) which could potentially become a studio space for anyone with a keen eye for modern finishes. The dual colored tones, textures and angles of the ADU add to the visual complexity. We have also derived design clues from a strong context of surrounding mature citrus trees and green hedges on the property. The continuity and flow of various elements of the two different and independent structures (main house and ADU) which share space on the same site, forms a compelling look to anyone who visits it.
